Having signed last summer from Monaco for a snip £5million fee, the 32-year-old has quickly become a fan favourite in the middle of the park as we made a fantastic return to Premier League football and with the curtain drawn on the season, he’s made 39 starting appearances, with five further showings from the substitutes bench in his first year at the Molineux.
He’s also chipped in with one goal and eight assists.
With optimism high ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and a possible European adventure given our seventh place finish in the top flight table, Moutinho is going to be key to us avoiding second season syndrome and although Raul Jimenez was one of the other players have to have a big shout for this award, most fans agree he’s a more than worthy winner.
We're honoured to have such a great player at our club. I didn't think I'd ever see a player of his calibre in a gold shirt. Thank you Fosun, Nuno and Uncle Jorge.

Would have given it to Jimenez personally but Moutinho is a class act
