Glenn Hoddle has given his clearest indication to date that Saturday’s home match with Derby could see the start of the Wolves evolution.
‘I’ve got to think about youngsters going in at Home. Its the right time to do it. If the supporters get behind them it would be great for the youngsters to go in there and play.’ he told the clubs official site.
“Some of these boys are not ready for the first team, but it might be an opportunity to put them in.”
The’re certainly going to be worked upon for teh next 18 months to see if they really are first team players. Just because their IN the first team, doesnt mean theyre first team players.”
“A lot can happen between 17 and 19. Theres a little batch of them, where its not about the next two games. Its a longer process.”
With purse strings set to be tight, the home clash offers Hoddle the ideal chance to blood some of his wolf cubs, and also to try and lift the dispondant fans, so desperately in need of a little light at the end of the Championship tunnel.
Could Saturday be the day Wolves fans get a glimpse of their future?
