Young Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir has completed a season-long loan move out to Las Palmas.

The 21-year-old talent came in from Valencia for an undisclosed fee back in the last January window, and he has made two substitute appearances in the Championship for us, with another two showings in the FA Cup as he continued his development in our Under 23 setup.

With four-years left on his contract at the club he will now head out to La Liga 2 to gain more valuable first-team experience with Las Palmas.

Wolves fans on social media were quick to wish him well and they believe it will prove to be a very beneficial spell for him as he takes another step towards establishing himself in the game and hopefully, down the line, in our first-team.

In his brief showings for us this pre-season he’d certainly continued to impress those who saw him in action and it’s a far better decision to get him real game time given his age.
