Romain Saiss came away with praise from supporters for his performance in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 4-0 win over Espanyol, but he wasn’t the only defender drawing the plaudits for his contribution at Molineux. Willy Boly was resolute on the night and subsequently hailed by fans on social media.
Wolves haven’t conceded a goal since the 29-year-old returned from injury and fans don’t believe it’s a coincidence. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men had shut out only two sides in their last three months without Boly but have now picked up three clean sheets in as many games since he’s been back.
Perfect performance, played into our hands and took our chances when they came. Boly and saiss immense at the back, shut everything out, neves ran the midfield, what a strike. Motm goes to Diogo not Diego, the boy is back. Could have been more aswell #wwfc

Against Espanyol, Boly played for 90 minutes, had 62 touches, won five aerial duels, completed 83.3% of his 54 passes, made one interception, found a teammate with one of his four long balls, made one tackle and made two clearances.
The French defender has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating two goals. Boly missed four months of the campaign through injury but has solidified the defence since returning – 0-0 draw with Manchester United (February 1), 0-0 draw with Leicester City (February 14), 4-0 win over Espanyol (February 20).
