Reports this week have claimed that former Wolverhampton Wanderers target Jean-Clair Todibo has now been made available by current club Barcelona on a loan spell ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Frenchman was loosely linked with Wolves back over the summer, but I’m not that sure that there was any real interest from us in fairness as the reports quickly disappeared to my memory, but in any event, he made the permanent switch to the Nou Camp during the January transfer window and has now made two appearances for the side.

The loan claim about the 19-year-old comes from outlet Marca and they put Napoli in pole position, with his agent pouring cold water on the suggestion stating that Barcelona would only allow him out if there was a promise ‘he is guaranteed a minimum of 30 matches.’

The original report doesn’t reference Wolves so this has taken on a life of its own on the rumour mill and can be safely ignored as given his age and lack of real experience, there’s not a cat in hell’s chance head coach Nuno Espirito Santo would guarantee game time.
