Wolves have made a second bid for Hull winger Stephen Hunt.

This first one is less of a rumour and more fact as the news comes direct from the Express & Star.

The offer this time is close to £3million, which could well tempt Hull into selling the 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international who reportedly wants to get away from Hull City.

Other rumours suggest that we are continuing to track the availability of Tottenham`s Jamie O`Hara who is on loan at Portsmouth.

Portsmouth have a transfer ban on players, which includes extending current loan deals.

If he returns to Spurs, Tottenham will probably want to organise a new deal for O’Hara, although this could prove complicated due to Premier League rules preventing a player having three clubs in one season.

Aston Villa midfielder Craig Gardner also remains linked while McCarthy could also be set to offer trials to Richard Soumah and Fode Mansare.
