It’s been claimed this week that Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on £18million rated Inter Milan centre-half Zinho Vanheusden.
The Belgian Serie A starlet is yet to debut for Inter Milan, but a cruciate knee ligament injury did hold his progress back with them. In 2018/19 he spent time out on loan with Belgian side Standard Liege, making 29 appearances for them across their domestic and Europa League campaign, so despite his time on the sidelines his stock is on the rise again.
With a good year of football under his belt, outlet Het Belang van Limburg have claimed that we have now joined Southampton when it comes to having an interest in signing him on a permanent deal.
With Wolves being linked with a few defenders of late, I wouldn’t imagine the £18million price tag would be overly off-putting if we had a genuine interest in him.
Hopefully over the coming weeks the endless speculation will actually turn into proper deals as we get them over the line and then we find out which ones were pure invention.
