This week reports have surfaced suggesting that Wolverhampton Wanderers could be interested in doing a deal for 23-year-old Senegalese international defender Pape Abou Cisse.

The reports originally surfaced in Greek media as Sport Witness translated a report from outlet SDNA.

With two years at Greek giants Olympiacos, it’s believed the player is ready to move on and additional reports this summer have linked Arsenal with having an interest in the 10million Euro rated player and for those like me who know nothing about him, interest from the Gunnars at least proves he’s been making waves – but with their tendency for defensive duds, it’s not that reassuring.

He apparently has three years remaining on his deal and naturally Jorge Mendes features here, especially as we loaned Olympiacos Roderick Miranda, so it probably won’t be long before some outlet’s are suggesting a potential swap deal.

At least it’s a new name though as we know we are looking based on Nuno’s recent transfer comments.
