Much has been said over the last few seasons since Mr Morgan took over the club about where the club is heading.

Well in that time we have seen the club promoted to the premiership and stay there for our third consecutive season, under the guidance of our most successful manager for a very long time.

The squad has been improved by the addition of some quality signings over the last three years.

This season sees the start of the redevelopment of Molineux, keeping the club at the heart of the City.

There is also the upgrading of the Compton training ground involving several parties involved in the local community.

The club is going in the right direction, but it is not going to fast too quickly.

How many times has the bubble burst for clubs trying to do it all at once, Leeds, Southampton and Portsmouth bear a stark reminder that you have to take your time.

Remember back to the dark days of the eighties and nearly going out of business twice, being in the 4th division, knocked out of the FA cup by Chorley, having a ground with only two stands open and remember how far the John Ireland stand was from the pitch.

They were the bad times, but now we are where we belong, in the top flight.

Doing this right and sensibly, and most importantly heading in the right direction!
