LIVERPOOL winger Adam Hammill wants to have a taste of what life is like at Anfield, but isn’t against another possible loan move.
In recent years Hammill has been farmed out to Dunfermline in the Scottish Premier League and then to Southampton, Blackpool and Barnsley, picking up valuable Championship experience.
At the age of 21 he has now made 83 appearances for his adoptive clubs and wouldn’t rule out another loan move, with Bolton, Wolves and WBA showing an interest according to the BBC.
‘I’ll go back in July and speak with the management. Whatever they think is best I’ll obviously take them up on their offer.’ said Hammill.
‘Being a local lad I’d love to get a taste (of the first-team) but if they think I need to go away for another six months or a year then obviously I’ll do that,’
Vital Wolves Comment: A genuine left winger or someone who can sit in behind the front two.
While we have been linked with permanent moves for various players, I would expect McCarthy to take advantage of the loan market and Hammill could be his first capture on loan.
