Last weekend, Wolverhampton Wanderers moved into seventh place in the Premier League table with a pretty comfortable victory over Bournemouth at the Molineux.

With head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s worst run of form at the club since his arrival now in the rearview, optimism has been restored with three wins on the spin and we are back to looking up the table and wondering what the 2018/19 campaign may now bring.

One of the keys to our success so far has been a very pleasing injury list and our latest casualty was Jonny Castro Otto who has been out since mid-November, but he returned for this one and got all 90 minutes under his belt.

Unfortunately, the game also saw Diogo Jota pick up an injury and he was replaced at the halftime break. The 22-year-old has picked up a hamstring injury but it’s hoped it’s not a long-term issue, but as yet, Physioroom haven’t put a return date to his name.

The likelihood is he’ll be out of the upcoming Liverpool clash, but fingers crossed that’s the only game he misses.
