Wolves are expected to complete the signings of on-loan Tottenham midfielder Jamie O`Hara and Birmingham defender Roger Johnson over the next seven days.

O’Hara has enjoyed a successful loan spell at Molineux and a fee between Wolves and Spurs has already been negotiated, but a deal has to be concluded over the next week.

O’Hara is reportedly keen to make the switch permanent and he has praised manager Mick McCarthy and the club for avoiding the drop this season.

‘This is a proper football club and it’s been a real honour to play for this club,’

‘It’s run fantastically well, the chairman is brilliant and the gaffer is absolutely amazing.’ O’Hara told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: ‘(McCarthy is) a proper football manager and that’s why he’s got the lads playing for him and that’s why this club is going to keep pushing on with someone like that in charge.’

Reports suggest that Mick McCarthy would also like to sign two centre-halves over the close season and our Mick has targeted Birmingham central defender Roger Johnson as his first pick.
