With another disappointing defeat for Wolverhampton Wanderers at the hands of Cardiff City last Friday evening, we now head into an incredibly tough task against Chelsea on Wednesday evening.

We welcome Maurizio Sarri’s side to the Molineux for our latest Premier League clash and despite our recent struggles and worst ever run under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, our performances against the big boys this year have seen us step up, so I have no doubts we’ll do that again.

Whether it will be enough to draw a line under the losses is a different question.

For now though, all we can hope is that preparation has been as perfect as possible and on an injury front that has certainly been the case, as although we didn’t come out of the Cardiff match with any points, we at least didn’t pick up any additional injuries or knocks.

Physioroom’s latest injury update only lists the knee ligament injury sustained by Jonny Castro Otto and features no fresh faces which can only be a positive as we look to turn things around again.
