Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo takes his Wolverhampton Wanderers first team squad to the London Stadium on Saturday for the Premier League clash against West Ham United.

With spirits still high from our Championship title win in the season of 2017/18, Wolves have acquitted themselves well so far in 2018/19. We have taken two draws from Everton and Manchester City but did lose out to Leicester City in a match we could’ve got more from.

Our EFL Cup exploits this week saw us take a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough with a much-changed group so Santo does have some selection considerations ahead of this one.

With a few players impressing in midweek, the most likely to play a greater role this weekend would be £18million Middlesbrough signing Adama Traore in my view as he was very impressive on his full debut, and also caught the attention of plenty of fans in his cameo substitute showings so far as he continues to settle into life at the club.

I’m not predicting the score but I wouldn’t be surprised if this was how we lined up.

Patricio
Bennett, Coady, Boly
Doherty, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny
Traore, Jimenez, Jota

I just can’t see Santo not giving Traore another shot unless fatigue maybe comes into play?
