Wolves gaffer McCarthy has admitted that he is on the look out regarding who may become available during the January transfer window.

But also made it clear that he wouldn’t be interested in inflated price tags or wages.

‘Generally January is a time for people who are in desperate need of money who try and sell players or desperately in need of trying to bring people in.’ McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.

He added: ‘Prices and wages tend to be hiked up so we’ll see what’s available.

‘I don’t know what business the other teams are going to do that we are competing against.’
