Wolverhampton Wanderers took to the pitch for our first Premier League game of the 2018/19 campaign at the weekend following last season’s promotion from the Championship as title winners.

Hosting Everton for an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Molineux there were a number of positives that fans could take from the match and, of course, the draw gets us off the mark in the table from the get-go which will only aid confidence as we continue to adjust to the next level up.
Helping confidence just that bit more will be the fact that Ruben Neves and summer signing Raul Jimenez got off the mark at the first time asking as well, as they opened their goal accounts for the year.
With Wolves clearly capable of more in terms of the actual showing on the day, Neves in particular still showed what he was capable of as he introduced himself to our new Premier League opposition and reacting to his goal on the day, fans couldn’t have been more thrilled with his personal highlight from the game.
