With this week being an international week, Wolves may not have been in action, but our players most certainly have!

Nenad Milijas looks set to be in South Africa next summer as his Serbia side qualified for the World Cup over the weekend.

A 5-0 win over Romania was enough for Serbia to win their group, forcing former Champions France into the play-offs.

Unfortunately that news ended Stefan Maierhofer’s hopes of Austria qualifying.

His disappointment was probably shared by Segundo Castillo as Ecuador were all but eliminated from their South American qualifying league.

Kevin Doyle, Kevin Foley and Andy Keogh were happy though following the weekends results though as Ireland have now secured a place in the play-offs.

Sam Vokes, Wayne Hennessey and Dave Edwards all featured for Wales who had already had their World Cup fate sealed and Christophe Berra played in Scotland’s bizarre away trip to Japan.
