Wolves On The Tweet

Wolves Increase World-Wide Appeal With Slick PR Move – “Deeney’s Fuming”

|

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be welcoming a celebrity guest to the Molineux for our final home Premier League game of the season when we face Fulham this coming Saturday, and he will be a household name for some I guess – WWE wrestler Sin Cara.

With him being close friends with Wolves star and record breaking Raul Jimenez, Laurie Dalrymple took full advantage of that at the end of last month and took to social media with a smile on his face.

With Jimenez slightly annoying Troy Deeney with a mask in the recent FA Cup clash against Watford, the timing is perfect and apparently that mask, in particular, was gifted to him by Jorge Arias (Sin Cara) after they met up back in March when Jimenez was on Mexican international duty.

Not only is this a fantastic response by the club in more publicly backing Jimenez after Deeney’s recent broadside, it’s also great from a public relations point of view as the name ‘Wolves’ has now been taken to a whole new fanbase.
