Demanding supporters in what Norwegian boss Ståle Solbakken has described as a crazy division.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have so far this season failed to live up to perhaps unrealistic expectations.
After dropping out of the Premier League last season Wolves turned to fresh new approach in the form of a foreign manager and an influx of new players.
The risk was obvious, none of them had any experience of English football. But it also soon became obvious that Solbakken was building a side with potential, the problem with potential though is that it doesn’t necessarily pick up results now and now is what Wolves are currently being judged on.
The only predictable thing about the Championship is its unpredictability. There aren’t many leagues in Europe where one moment you can string together five wins in six games to then fail to win at all in your next five.
But that’s where Wolves find themselves going into Saturday’s game away to Brighton.
“It is a crazy division but we are playing in a crazy division and at the moment we are not doing well enough and not picking up points,
“We have to improve in that department. We are not out of it at all but we have to pick up points quickly.’ Ståle Solbakken told the Birmingham Post.
Despite dropping from 3rd to 13th in 5 games, we remain 3 points from the play-off places. Back-to-back wins would immediately bump us back into contention and the gaffer feels Wolves have to start living with the pressure.
He continued: “We are in a bad spell at the moment for points and for every game we don`t pick anything up it gets more serious, That makes the pressure come here for every game.
“These are tough times but you have to live with that and come through it.
