Jez Moxey, Wolves Chief Executive Officer has confirmed that Wolves are in negotiations with several clubs over bolstering the squad over the January window.

Yesterday there was no news regarding transfers according to Mick McCarthy, while today we have been linked with a couple of possible signings and Jez has confirmed that he has spoken to clubs about players.

‘We have made one or two bids for permanent signings and started the process to hopefully add a couple of players,’ Jez told Wolves Official Website.

As McCarthy didn’t think there was any news, that may suggest how far down the line these potential signings are, so we do not expect any immediate news on new players.

Jez added: ‘We will not divulge targets, but after consultation with Mick, I’ve made a number of enquiries over the last week and we would hope to try to bring in one or two players.’

So will we be finally adding some experience to the squad? We at Vital Wolves have only being shouting about since June?

‘We hope we can add Premier League experience.’ Jez concluded.

Vital Wolves Comment: Could Fode Mansara and Kevin Kilbane be Mick’s targets? If they are what do you think? Let us know via the usual methods!
