According to reports in Holland, Wolverhampton Wanderers have had a bid for forward Jeroen Lumu rejected.
Lumu is highly thought of in Holland and is apparently valued at around £1million. There had been rumours that he could be making a move to England and training with Dean Saunders’s squad but it has now been announced that our bid has been rejected.
‘The offer of Wolverhampton was far too low,’ Willem II’s technical manager Marc van Hintum told Voetbal International.
‘A departure is no more on the agenda.’
The 17-year-old who is contracted to the Dutch club for the next two-and-a-half-years has also been linked with Premier League sides Aston Villa and Fulham according to Sky Sports.
