Whilst we arguably had some luck against Manchester City at the Molineux last weekend, we were good value with a creditable point being taken from the reigning chances.

The visitors dominated on the day but we restricted most real opportunities in the game and with the rub of the green going our way at points, well, who wouldn’t have taken a point going into the match?

27-year-old Willy Boly was amongst the headlines with his performance on the day, especially when it came to him opening the scoring in the 57th minute of the second half and that was reflected by the rating he received from Whoscored.

As they crunched the numbers coming from the game, Boly won out with a rating of 7.91 following his efforts that saw one tackle, one interception, five clearances and two shots blocked. He also scored with his only effort on target and with 41 touches he held a pass accuracy rate of 88.5%.

He was the highest rated player on the day with Sergio Aguero only receiving a 7.53. Jonny Castro (7.09) and Joao Moutinho (7.06) completed the top three for Wolves as the only other players to rate above 7 from the game.
