Wolverhampton Wanderers came from behind twice to come out of the friendly with Aston Villa with a draw.
It’s not often 22,070 turn out at Molineux to watch a pre-season game, it’s even less frequent to have a friendly delayed due to crown congestion but that’s what we had last night.
Aston Villa took an early lead through Libor Kozak.
Defensively, Wolves would not have been happy with that goal as we looked a yard off the pace.
The equaliser was a great goal though with Dominic Iorfa beating two men with ease before Dave Edwards beat his man at the near post with a back heel.
Aston Villa once again took the lead late on through Libor Kozak for his second, but an 89th minute goal from Benik Afobe left the game level at 2-2.
“It was great pressing from Conor Coady and as soon as Nouha got the ball I knew he was going to pass it to me,” Afobe told Wolves Official Website.
He continued: “I made my run, took a touch, and as soon as I was one-on-one I knew I had to stay composed to score.
“It was the first game back at Molineux and I was delighted to score and hopefully I can get some more and help the team do well.
