Wolverhampton Wanderers may have pulled off a small coup with the capture of Londonderry striking sensation Lee Harkin this week.

The BBC appeared to have been the first to announce the arrival of the Northern Irishman on Wednesday and they have a video clip of the young lad in action.

Having stolen the show at last year’s Super Cup NI, it’s plain to see why his raw talent and ability on the ball has seen him garner plenty of attention and having had a prolonged trial spell with Wolves – as well as spending time with Manchester United and Celtic – the 16-year-old has now penned a three year deal with us as we look to continue his development.

He’s the third youngster to join our ranks following on from Hong Wan and Raphael Nya and clearly our Board continue to keep on eye on the future as well as the now as we continue to rebuild and shape the club under owners Fosun.

This lad could well be a name to remember.
