Wolves are one of a number of clubs interested in signing 19-year-old Rayan Ait Nouri from French side Angers, a report from Le 10 Sport has claimed.

A promising young full-back, Nouri has already made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 club’s senior side, and it seems he has attracted plenty of attention in the process.

According to the latest reports, Wolves are interested in a move for the teenager, as they look to strengthen their squad in both the short and the long-term, although they are not alone with their interest in the defender.

It is also thought that Barcelona are keen on a move for Nouri, while Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly made an opening offer for the full-back.

Whether or not Angers accept that bid from the German side remains to be seen, although the French outfit are said to want around €20million for the teenager.

As things stand, there are still three years remaining on Nouri’s contract with Angers, putting his current club in a strong position to negotiate any offer that comes in for the player.

This does look to be a move that could suit Wolves, providing they are able to pull it off.

Looking at their recent business, Nouri’s lack of experience is unlikely to be something that puts them off here, and both his progression and the level of interest there is in him highlight the potential he has.

Indeed, given that interest there is in Nouri, it would be yet another show of strength and intent from Wolves if they win this particular transfer battle, and it will be interesting to see which destination the teenager finds most appealing as he decides on his next move.
