Wolverhampton Wanderers and Celtic vie for former West Brom midfielder.

28-year-old midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has been released by West Bromwich Albion after six years with the Baggies.

He made 211 appearances for West Brom following his £175,000 move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Mulumbu remained a regular for Tony Pulis this season making 21 appearances, as well as representing Congo at the African Cup Of Nations.

But now it seems, according to reports around the internet he has two options.

He could join Wolves, remain local to the area that he is settled in and probably get regular football under Wolves manager Kenny Jackett as the side push for promotion to the Premier League.

Or, he could make the move to Scotland and play for Celtic.

He would be playing in a poorer division, but could potentially be involved in the UEFA Champions League.
