Following the succes of last years Win A Player promotion, Coca-Cola have launched Win A Player 2, with even more transfer money up for grabs.
Last year, a staggering 1.1 million entries were received during the 80 day promotion aiming to win their club a £250,000 windfall to spend on new signings.
This year, as well as the main £250,000 prize, 2 smaller 50,000 prizes will be awarded as well.
The three winners will be invited on Soccer AM on 29th April where they will find out which club recieves the main prize of £250,000. The 2 runners up clubs will recieve £50,000 each, with the contestants recieving a thousand pounds.
Last years prize was won by Brighton fan Aaron Berry who scooped a quarter of a million pounds for Albion, and a cool £10,000 for himself.
Coca Cola say this is their way of giving something back to the fans and the clubs, and who are we to argue? The sums involved may be a drop in the ocean to Coca-Cola, but to Brighton Manager Mark McGee, , the money he recieved last year made a real difference.
‘Colin Kazim Richards has been an excellent addition to the squad, and scored some vital and spectacular goals already.’ he said.
