I will be quite interested to see how Mick goes about approaching this fixture.

We have quite a big game four days later and another soon after that. It is very likely that he will field a side similar to the one that faced Manchester United in December.

This time though, the selection will not bring controversy. Many do not regard the FA cup as an important competition, even though it is one of the oldest and most famous club competitions.

Young Mujangi Bia could be set for an appearance, as long as the paper work is completed in time. This will be an opportunity for him and others to prove their worth. I think the likes of Friend and Surman have given us reasons to see why they are in our squads and there are more.

What will Crystal Palace bring to worry us? If still at the club, hugely talented Victor Moses will cause us some problems. He has already stated he believes he is ready for the premier league and could be gone before Saturday. Palace have been bringing through a few ‘kids` from their academy. Sean Scannell has scored against Wolves before and is another Palace player who could be sold.

Would a cup run be good for wolves though? A good cup run would mean us winning, providing us with confidence but on the other hand could drain the boys out. We have already shown that three games in a week is asking a bit much. We haven`t had a decent cup run for a while too, so maybe this will provide a nice distraction form the league.

Neil Warnock`s sides are always competitive so this should prove a feisty encounter. I think even a weakened side will just about see them off. 3-1 to the Wolves.
