Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have long been aware that Portuguese winger Ivan Cavaleiro’s time at the Molineux was over and with 19 goals in 106 appearances across three seasons, he said his goodbyes over the summer and moved to Championship side Fulham on a loan spell.
With the 26-year-old more than playing his part in our successful storming of the second tier as we returned ourselves to the Premier League, we already knew there was a buy clause in his loan spell and considering he has impressed at Craven Cottage, returning five goals in 25 appearances so far, with the New Year now with us, they have enacted that clause early and he has now completed his permanent switch.
116 appearances, 19 goals. 👏
Thanks for everything, Cav!

Although he didn’t quite impress in the top flight as he had done previously, he departs with plenty of fond memories and we always knew Fulham were getting themselves a good player but although the fee is undisclosed, I don’t imagine for a second we haven’t made a decent profit here.
Players will come and go! Thanks for the memories and carry on with your good form at @FulhamFC 👍🏽

Me to. Especially now Cutrone looking to leave. Could have easily stepped in.

Although a relatively brief time with the club – His contribution to us smashing the championship apart will never be forgotten… pic.twitter.com/Zk2mpzeltS
