Bradley Reid was released by Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017, ending a four-year association with the club. The 24-year-old went on to join Tamworth on a free transfer and moved on to Stourbridge FC a year later, but his career couldn’t be more contrasting to how it was three years ago.

Which club did Wolves sign Raul Jimenez from?

Reid initially joined Wolves for £200k from Wrexham in 2013 and went on to make 30 appearances for the U23s, scoring eight goals and making three assists. During his time at Molineux, he made the first-team matchday squad once and represented Wales at U19 and U21 level, as per Transfermarkt.

The striker struggled for playing time and was loaned out to Wrexham three times (September 3, 2013 – October 15, 2013) (March 27, 2014 – April 27, 2014) (August 23, 2016 – September 22, 2016), making a total of 15 appearances, scoring one goal and making four assists. He also had a stint at Telford United.

But after finally leaving Wolves, Reid dropped down to semi-professional football – Tamworth and Stourbridge are both in the Bet Victor Southern League Premier Division Central. The 24-year-old is now an Internal Accounts Manager at Ethos Voice and Data Limited (EVAD), according to his LinkedIN.

A striker who once was worth five figures is now playing football as a hobby.
