Saturday evening’s FA Cup quarter-final tie between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United at the Molineux was a game that will live long in the memory.
After a slow start, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s side grew into the match and for large parts, we took the game to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and deservedly took a two goal lead inside of the final 20 minutes as Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota got themselves on the scoresheet.

Marcus Rashford did claw one back for them late on in stoppage-time but it was job done as we booked our place in the Semi-Finals at Wembley and now face Watford as we look to silverware and a potential route to Europe.
Having had a sluggish start to the season, Jota has definitely come good in time (as most expected) and he’s getting plenty of plaudits and praise for his efforts once again – not least a maiden international call up – with him adding the second on the night that praise simply continued on social media.
Not too Shaw about the defending but it was a tidy finish! ????

Is there a better site in football than Diogo peeling off to the left after scoring in front of the Southbank?
