As we reported yesterday, Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford has been linked with a move to Wolves.

However the 25-year-old has also be receiving interest from West Brom (who were relegated last season if you were not aware).

Beckford scored 34 goals for Leeds United last season and has plenty of potential to step up in class, however Leeds will want to keep hold of him this season despite him only having 12 months remaining on his contract.

That means, he is likely to be available next summer for diddly squat instead of the £2million figure being floated around yesterday.

Vital Wolves Comment: The stronger link does appear to be with Albion so can only assume that their interest is stronger than ours?

Lets be honest, who’s the player going to choose if its between us and them?
