It turned into a busy Tuesday for fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers as not only did we announce the capture of Patrick Cutrone, there was also confirmation of Will Norris heading out to Ipswich on a loan spell. We also saw Rafa Mir head out to Nottingham Forest as he looks to step up his development.
The Spanish Under 21 international has been used sparingly, and in the 2018/19 campaign as we adjusted to life in the Premier League he headed out to Spanish second tier side UD Las Palmas, where he scored seven times in 30 appearances.
Heading into the Championship will provide a significantly different challenge for the 22-year-old but it will allow fans a far better opportunity to judge his future potential given plenty rate him highly.
Reacting to the move on social media, Forest fans seemed delighted to welcome him and most Wolves fans appreciated this would now be a big year for the lad.
Welcome Rafa. I hope your stay here is a happy and successful one ????⚪️

Weird one is Rafa, came to Wolves with a lot of hype but has never really got the opportunities. Our rapid rise has pushed him further down the pecking order. Could be a good move at a good club. Wish him well ????????
