Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a surprise and somewhat bizarre January transfer window move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
The 23-year-old Belgium international striker came through French side Lille’s youth system and following his reported £10million move to Anfield back in the summer of 2014, he’s since spent time out on loan back with Lille and most recently Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Career-wise his record for his age isn’t that bad, he has 43 goals in 102 starting appearances and 91 substitute showings but despite his early promise, he does split opinions at Liverpool.
The Liverpool Echo reported yesterday that they believed the club would be looking for in excess of £20million in the New Year but they were willing to sell him to generate funds, and naturally we have been linked with him – as we reportedly were last summer, but back then the player wasn’t keen on a move to the Molineux and put simply, a lot of fans aren’t keen on him now.
Dzeko would be a brilliant signing.

I don’t think we’d go for Dzeko for that reason & his ridiculous wages, I’d maybe prefer Solanke than Origi.

FFS….. we're better than Liverpool cast offs. He wouldn't offer us anymore than what we already have.
