Wolverhampton Wanderers proved that lightning can strike twice in football as we took a deserved FA Cup victory over Liverpool at the Molineux on Monday night.

With a good start to the Premier League in the first half of the 2018/19 campaign, we had a few hiccups that many expected as we adjusted to life back in the top flight, and we are now going to enjoy an FA Cup run under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo following the 2-1 victory that saw goals from Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves.

Whilst the game wasn’t a classic really, there were a number of strong performances on display and for many fans in particular on social media, centre-half Willy Boly was a stand out performer for us.

You can certainly see why the 27-year-old came in for such praise as his consistency for us has been massive ever since he arrived from Porto, and he’s certainly a good shout for Player of the Season come the end of the year.
