Kevin Doyle scored the winner inside the opening three minutes for Wolves against Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Very few Wolves fans would have expected us to return with the points, but that was exactly what we did and while Spurs may have dominated the game if you study the statistics. As Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy pointed out after the game, they offered little in the way of real chances: ‘Marcus Hahnemann’s not been diving around making saves everywhere. I expect my keeper to have to make saves when we go to Spurs.’ McCarthy told the BBC.
McCarthy continued to add: ‘Possession and passes and switching play – really good stuff at times from Spurs but Marcus made one really good save and no, we haven’t been mullered.’

You certainly knew how to contain us and keep us quiet, we hardly made any chances at all in comparison to recent weeks! Well done you’s.
