Wolves boss Mick McCarthy hasn’t ruled out taking another look at Jerome Thomas – Official Website

FORMER Portsmouth and Charlton winger Jerome Thomas had the perfect chance to impress during his trial game for Wolves against Milton Keynes.

But he failed to convert his chance, which came to him inside the opening minutes of the game.

Unfortunately for him he then only gained half an hour to impress before limping off injured. ‘We’re having a look at Jerome,’ Mick McCarthy told WOW.

‘I think the chance he missed was serious over-excitement at the chance to score on your debut and ingratiate yourself to everyone and he just made a mess of it.

‘But I thought he played really well and was pleased with him but he’s just hurt his hamstring.

‘We’ll look after him and see how he is and see if we can get him right have him playing again.’

Vital Wolves Comment: With pre-season running out, will Thomas appear before being 100% in a last bid to secure a deal?
