WOLVES boss Mick McCarthy has been verbally attacked by the man behind former Manchester United legend Roy Keane’s autobiography reports the Express & Star.

Eamon Dunphy who writes a column in an Irish newspaper, questioned Kevin Doyle’s move to Wolves due to the other clubs having hugely successful managers in comparison to Mick McCarthy.

“Sunderland, Fulham and Bolton all actively chased his signature, while Aston Villa and Everton have also shown an interest in securing his services in the recent past.

“Any one of those clubs would have been a far better destination for Doyle.’ Eamon Dunphy wrote.

“Fulham, Everton and Villa are clubs on the rise and all of them will be playing in the Europa League next season.

“Crucially, all of them also have hugely successful managers.”

Vital Wolves Comment: Harsh and unnecessary comments.

Obviously the row with McCarthy and Keane lives on. At least in this guys head it does.
