WOLVES had to call in the bomb squad this morning after a suspect package was found in a bin outside the Stan Cullis Stand.

A robot carried out the controlled explosion on the bag and as yet it is still not known what was inside.

“We contacted the police straight away and on their advice we closed the stand, ticket office and the club shop.’ Stadium manager Steve Sutton said to the Express & Star.

“Wolves` other stands and general club operations were unaffected by the drama, although the stadium`s car park was cordoned off. The all-clear was given at around 12.30pm.
