Mick McCarthy today revealed Wolves couldn`t recruit the Premier League experience they wanted – Express & Star

WOLVES boss Mick McCarthy has admitted that he would have wanted to bring in more established players into the squad, but simply was unable to following a summer of wheeling and dealing.

“We`ve tried to get as much experience as we can with the ones we`ve got and I think we`ve done well.’ Mick told the Express & Star.

“It`s sometimes not possible to get 24-27-year-olds who have done it in the Premier League. We couldn`t do it.”

Vital Wolves Comment: Sounds like the end of the line in terms of bringing in established, older heads with that knowledge of the Premier League.

Is the squad we have strong enough if the season started tomorrow? Or should Mick continue to hunt down more options?
