Usually on Vital Wolves we like to blend in our users comments and Mick McCarthy’s comments into one article.

But this week, the supporters appear to have not reached a Vital Wolves Verdict, with the jury now out on Mick McCarthy – click here.

So first up for the defence, the prosecution calls Wolves manager Mick McCarthy: ‘I picked a team I thought would go out there and compete, but it didn’t happen.’ he honestly and openly told the BBC.

‘From the first whistle we haven’t made a tackle or laid a finger on anyone and, as a result, Birmingham were a good street better than us. We improved late in the game, yes, but we didn’t deserve anything from it.

‘The supporters deserve a lot better than what we dished up for them today, that’s for sure.’

Vital Wolves Comment: Sounds like a guilty plea to us.
