WOLVES legend Steve Bull has paid his own special tribute to Sir Bobby Robson who died on Friday.

The 76-year-old had been fighting cancer for many years and his passing was remembered up and down the country at various games across the land.

“I think everyone knew this news was coming, but it doesn`t make it any less sad.’ Bull told the Express & Star.

“He was a brilliant man and someone I will always be grateful to for giving me that amazing experience at Italia ’90.

“We came so close – one of the best teams not to win the World Cup. The boys were that good and Bobby was at the heart of it.”
