Wolverhampton Wanderers’ unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday evening, with Arsenal enjoying a 2-0 win over the Midlands outfit at Molineux, and Raul Jimenez was one of many players who underperformed over the 90 minutes. The 29-year-old didn’t have enough of the ball in dangerous areas, but he also fired blanks in front of goal, so he’ll want to forget all about Sunday as quickly as possible.

Against Arsenal, Jimenez played for 90 minutes, had 43 touches, won six aerial duels, completed 78.1% of his 32 passes, created two chances, had one shot which didn’t hit the target, whipped in one cross which didn’t find a teammate, made one clearance, gave away one foul, won one free-kick and had one dribble.

The Mexican international joined Wolves on loan from Benfica in 2018 and signed permanently for £34.2m in 2019. He’s gone on to make 92 appearances in all competitions, scoring 41 goals with 18 assists. Jimenez is coming off the back of a prolific season, boasting 24 goals and 10 assists in 48 games, but he had an off day against Arsenal.

Wolves face Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday, so he has a chance to put things right.

Get your facts right. We are playing Sheffield Utd not Sheffield Wednesday

See the glory hunters are mouthing of again, 3 wins out of four and these jackass parasites are moaning, doing their usual character assinations of players, and before any of you low life call me an happy clapper you might be right all of my 67 years of following and continously attending matches since 1953 aged four unlike you cretins who don’t deserve a decent team to support, jackass jerks.

There’s no excuses we were terrible against Arsenal none existent in midfield, and attack ,Jimines was terrible should of been replaced and Docherty had a poor game also Moutinio ,we don’t get enough shots at goal for me ,think Nuno got this line up wrong today should of gone with 3-4-3 with same front 3 with Jota up front .
But Nuno will sort it out and hopefully we can get a win against Sheffield Utd but we definately need a better performance because although we have been winning before Arsenal game the football as not been great ,average really

Sides are beginning to work us out. We only have one team with a weak bench. We are becoming tired mentally and physically after all the games played. Nuno s tactics have not been the best lately nor his substitutions. Perhaps the pressure is now coming to the fore and without the support of the supporters the players can’t raise their game when needed. Against Sheffield a lot of the players lacked energy. However, still the best we have played fir years.
