Whoever the new manager will be at Wolves will know he has money to spend in a bid to get us back into the Premier League.
Wolves fans didn’t need telling that there would be significant changes in the playing staff, that was a given, but over the past year one of the main criticisms has been a perceived lack of investment in the team by the members of the Molinuex boardroom.
Arguably, that now puts us in a better position in the Championship as money has been invested in the infrastructure of the club, meaning the club is a lot more financially stable than a lot of clubs who drop out of the Premier League.
“The one thing about Wolves is that we`re in great financial health and we will have a very good treasure chest when it comes to the playing side.
“There will be changes – some players will come, some players will go but that will be with one thing in mind and that`s to get back up.” Morgan told Express & Star at the club`s end of season awards dinner at Telford International Centre.
He continued: “We are more committed than ever.
“I am a very poor loser and we have lost this year. We`ve had a bad time and we have to sort it out. We have to put a poor season behind us, get back to winning ways and get back to the Premier League.”
Some will argue that it would have been easier to invest the money while we were in the Premier League as it is a lot easier to stay there than to win a place back. But the reality is, next season we will be in the Championship and the new manager will need significant backing if we are to bounceback at the first attempt.
