Wolverhampton Wanderers trip to the Cardiff City Stadium to face rather obviously Cardiff City has been selected for the live television treatment.

With Wolves sitting pretty in top spot in the Championship table despite recent wobbles, Cardiff under Neil Warnock have at least temporarily made second spot their home so our upcoming clash in April will now be screened live by Sky Sports.

Whether by April Cardiff slip and Warnock’s go to Plan A of kick everybody backfires and they slip down the table with suspensions remains to be seen – but for the moment they are unbeaten.

The match was originally scheduled for Saturday April 7 but will now take place on Friday April 6 and carry a 7.45pm kick off time.

With games against Reading, Leeds United, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough also set for screening in the coming weeks, Cardiff makes it five so far in the run in.

  • Let’s hope we have a decent ref v cardiffs SS hackers, Warnock should not be allowed to manage a dog show, the guy makes Adolf Hitler look like a saint and his players make the SS look like pansies, they really are a bunch of animals and God help the premiership and it’s players should they get promoted.
