Plenty of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours that the Premier League are planning on creating “World Cup-style” camps in the midlands and London to try and finish the season.
With the Premier League being delayed until at least April 30 due to the coronavirus outbreak, the football authorities have their work cut out to see how they can complete this season, as it is difficult to predict when we shall be able to play again.
The Independent report that the Premier League have been in discussions over the weekend, and it seems as if games ‘behind closed doors’ are the most likely option, but the idea of isolated camps is one which clubs keep returning to, allegedly.
Could you see Diogo Jota leaving in the summer?
Not sure
No chance
Yes I can
With the broadcasting contracts at risk, clubs are under huge pressure to get the season finished, otherwise each team could be left with huge holes in their pockets.
The Independent claims to have been told that every one of the 92 games plans on being televised, with a handful every day over the coming months.
It seems as if fans are still yet to be convinced, as you can see from the responses below…
Ridiculous…..just finish the season when you can, even if this writes off season 20/21

Don’t care how they do it as long as they don’t void the season

They’ll of discussed this along with numerous other plans. The PL have to be seen to be trying to find a solution so that those most affected when the season is eventually declared null & void can have no complaints. No legal action either as it will be government orders.

Wolves fans will be eager to get back to business, as before the world came to a halt, they were knocking at the door of the Champions League and one game away from the final eight of the Europa League.
