With the Wolverhampton Wanderers summer transfer rumour mill moving into nonsense territory with recent claims that AC Milan would offer a cash + Andre Silva swap in order to secure the services of highly talented Ruben Neves, plenty of fans reacted to the news with the expected disdain.
Rumours of our interest in Silva go back to the 2018 summer transfer window and whatever our apparent interest in the 23-year-old actually is, you need to seriously misunderstand football if you believe there is any way on this planet that we’d swap Neves for a player that we could quite easily afford on a straight cash deal if we wanted to.
Silva may or may not be a useful addition to our front line and provide competition and cover for Raul Jimenez, but Neves is key to how head coach Nuno Espirito Santo wants the side to play through middle, so this deal is absolute codswallop and I’m not the only one who thinks so.
@Wolves don’t you dare, the absolute riots there will be if you do this

Sorry? Which club is playing Europe next season?

100 mill mate. Neves has been valued at 120 apparently

So Milan want Neves, £15 million and a striker that couldn't hit the back of the net last season. Unless @Wolves and @LaurieDalrymple lose their minds very quickly I can't see this happening.

In short, they can't afford him.
