The future of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is becoming a bit of a saga with claim and counterclaim over a January departure from Aston Villa and a subsequent arrival at Wolverhampton Wanderers or somebody else.
I even saw that he was being linked with Crystal Palace by somebody yesterday and that certainly came out of left-field.
In any event, it’s now been said he’s staying with our local rivals until the end of the campaign so if Wolves do have an interest in the talented player, we’ll see whether our interest returns or not come the summer.
He’s still being linked with us however, and we’ve apparently asked the Football Association for help as well, so this is going to rumble on for the rest of the month I guess.
With no move imminent though, plenty of Wolves fans are happy to move on and it’s more of a priority for them that we secure the future of loanee Raul Jimenez given we hold a buy clause on the striker.

Forget Abraham, there is only one striker we need to secure and that is @Raul_Jimenez9 permanently #wwfc

#avfc fans actually think #wwfc fans care about Abraham, he was only going to sit on our bench behind Jimenez ???? Shows how the tables have turned when your fans/players celebrate keeping somebody on loan while sitting 10th in the Championship. #smalltime

Fair play to Abraham for staying at villa. I'm sure he wants starting 11, something he definitely wouldn't have got at wolves#WWFC #AVFC
