The Premier League season is finally here (well for everyone but Spurs and Everton of course).

The grind of pre-season, with it’s pointless friendlies is done.

Tomorrow sees the start of a brand new season, one which we all hope will once again end with Wolves still in the Premier League.

This season, like last season, we all hope that we can kick on and continue to not only establish ourselves in the Premier League, but climb into the mid-table positions.

The season will bring its ups and downs, the unexpected victories and the shambolic results against those that we should beat and it all starts tomorrow against Blackburn.

‘We all want a good start and it just gets to you – you feel like you need an extra lung to get some extra breath in you.’ Mick told Wolves Official Website, it doesn’t matter how many years of experience you have behind you, there will always be a bit of nerves heading into a new season.

He added: ‘I’ll still get those butterflies when I’m standing there at Blackburn because it’s a big day for us all.

‘We want to make sure we get something from the game and make sure it all goes right.

‘We will have done it all right because we prepare properly but we just hope it all goes well on the day.’
