On Saturday afternoon, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed the expected departure of Portuguese winger Ivan Cavaleiro given the speculation in recent days that had linked the international with a switch to Fulham and Craven Cottage.

“Sign Someone Quick” “What The Hell” – With Another Expected Departure These Wolves Fans Gets Edgy

The 25-year-old made the switch to the Molineux back at the end of the 2016 summer transfer window for a reported £7million as he arrived from Monaco and he was an immediate fan favourite with his attacking style of play and he was a marker in how our fortunes changed under owners Fosun.

It was long expected he would move on this summer, but his part in our transformation will never be forgotten by the fans. He heads to Fulham on a season long loan deal, which will then become permanent (their choice) at the end of the campaign and he leaves having made 58 starts, and 48 substitute showings – with a return of 19 goals.

It might not be a formal goodbye at this stage and there’s little speculation about the sums here as I look quickly, but if he impresses and finds the form he showed for us, I’d be amazed if Fulham didn’t want him permanently.
